Today it has been revealed that the IKEA LUDDE Sheepskin rug has been used in the popular Game of Thrones series to protect the Night's Watch against the chills of the North.

To celebrate, IKEA’s Co-workers showed us how to get the Night's Watch look as they modelled IKEA's rug collection in the Wembley store.

Carol McSeveney, Textiles Sales Leader, IKEA UK & Ireland said: “We are flattered that our rugs are featured in Game of Thrones. We know these rugs are warm and cosy but we hadn’t envisioned them becoming a fashion accessory. Seeing them worn by Jon Snow and his brothers in the Night's Watch has inspired us to display them off the floor. Why drape them across your favourite armchair when they look just as good on your shoulders”?
